What is the typical size of a unit?

The standard size is 1188 sq ft, however, the unit sizes vary from 822 square feet to 3679 square feet with the potential for a mezzanine area. Is this a storage rental facility?

No, this is not a storage rental facility. Garage World is a condominium development specifically designed for private storage and a true sense of community in garage ownership. All units are individually owned, but may be leased privately if the owner desires, so long as the tenants adhere to the general bylaws of the property.

Where are you located?

Garage World currently has a location in Blackfalds, Alberta, just a ten minute drive in either direction to Lacombe and Red Deer. View our location on Google Maps.

What is the price of a standard single unit?

Can Units be leased?

Are there condominium fees?

Yes. Similar to a residential condominium, there is a management company and associated fees. The fee will cover all building maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, insurance and contributions toward the reserve fund. Each bay has individual service meters (water, gas and electricity) so you only pay for your own operating costs rather than sharing the costs of the condominium.

Is the site secure?

The site is fully fenced and allows 24/7 owner access via a security code. Owners have the option of adding their own individual security system to their unit for a fee.

Can I customize my unit?

Yes. Garage World encourages owners to make the space their own. After all – it is YOUR escape. In the event you would like to customize your unit, Garage World is willing to assist during every stage in the process. From car lifts and cabinets to custom flooring designs, we have partnered with several local trades and suppliers to provide our clients with options for superior finishing products and accessories.
