Is this a storage rental facility?
No, this is not a storage rental facility. Garage World is a condominium development specifically designed for private storage and a true sense of community in garage ownership. All units are individually owned, but may be leased privately if the owner desires, so long as the tenants adhere to the general bylaws of the property.
Where are you located?
Garage World currently has a location in Blackfalds, Alberta, just a ten minute drive in either direction to Lacombe and Red Deer. Our address is 5217 Duncan Ave, Blackfalds, AB, T4M 0L3. We can be found on both Google and Apple Maps.
Can units be leased directly from Garage World?
There are units for lease. Please contact our onsite lease coordinator for more info.
Are there condominium fees?
Yes. Similar to a residential condominium, there is a management company and associated fees. The fee will cover all building maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, insurance and contributions toward the reserve fund. Condo fees are $100 per unit and $10 per month for water usage.
Is the site secure?
Yes. The site is fully fenced and allows 24/7 owner access via a security code. Owners have the option of adding their own individual security system to their own units.
Can I customize my unit?
Yes. Garage World encourages owners to make the space their own. After all – it is YOUR escape. Garage World has partnerships with several local businesses that can assist in this customization from adding bathrooms to mezzanines, and epoxy floors to cabinets.
